2007
".....Norwegian Wood and I am the manic pixie love interest, Midori -- memorable and entertaining, but hardly central. A character actress. A blip in your fictitious world. I am your own lovely, little short story."

After much thought(and intervention of rational self) I have come to the conclusion that when it comes to jumping up the wrong bus, i'm in the green.
My usual route sees me hitting the highway right after I get on. None of the other buses run by this route. In fact most of them make their rounds in the neighbourhood(did my homework) except the one I unwittingly took last week which took me to the neighbouring(scary coit's right next to the border)neighbourhood.
so next time(fingers crossed there wont be a next) my semi-conscious self hops onto the wrong bus i can console myself in he fact that it could be worse.

I'm An Alien In Singapore
I forgot how crazy the festivities get around this part of the world. Normally I get in just in time to join in to toss the yu sheng or dip my chopsticks into the bubbling pot of steamboat goodness.
5 years shouldn't feel so long but for me it's a fifth of my life at present and boy have I lost touch of reality. I was bolstered in my warped bubble so much so that I no longer feel like I belong. Not one spot on this earth can I fully identify with.
Is there a word for that?
Josh says that's wanderlust but I'm not seeking adventure. I am quite happy feeling displaced.

it's easy to be attracted to Lee Pace; his remarkable bone structure and appealing smile.
but i think what tears at me the most is his quiet vulnerability through Calpernia Addams. i can't decide if i like him more as a transgender or as a regular bloke.
probably the former.
he is simply mesmerizing.
wish i had learnt of this film earlier.
Soldier's Girl.
Magnifique.

reverence
today i reassess my priorities.
today i question my purpose.
today a sightless man taught me to type.
there's no going back now.
