besides the number of candles on  my birthday cake, i've noticed my perspective also changing over time. i suppose, you could say the most change happened in the past year.

one of the more startling differences -i came to this epiphany spending Halloween frisking along the aisles in Mustafa Centre- is that it used to be, "Oh my boyfriend is so amazing, he bought me a lovely Tiffany's charm bracelet for Christmas , but now it's more, "Oh my boyfriend is so amazing, he spent an hour understanding me and helping me get through my hang-ups."

i suppose you could say that change of perspective comes with age, but i believe in that equation, the factor of willingness or want comes into play.
You need to want to grow up.
I needed to want to grow up.



please don't mistake this for a 'holier than thou' type of announcement but more a self-reflection. when i read this a couple of months or years down the road i wanna remember just that.

my momma would be proud of me today.

Today, i went up to my lecturer and asked for pointers. I'm pretty sure I've never done that before.

Day 2, and it's already begun.......
