Instead of squandering our 10days of annual leave on 5 star establishments and endless shopping in some far off foreign country which rhymes with 'weights', this year we will drive right across the causeway to a tiny little kelong with no proper flushing systems, we'll sit ourselves in a sampan and cast out our lines in the hopes to catch some fish.

passed the taste test though.


"kakak we are gonna train this year."
last year i totally dragged her down with me. gasping for air, complaining of a phantom stitch, losing the drive to run whenever any fat girl ran past me. with all that drama we clocked 42mins 42secs. then we proceeded on to queue for double that time for the damned goodie bag.
which reminds me, i've been meaning to laminate last year's cert.

this year little miss whiny's joining us so........fingers crossed.
(dear God please not let me be the lousiest/unfittest sister, i already am the dumbest.)


i finally broke my dry spell tonight.
with my trusty spatula, i whipped up lychee flavoured macarons.

my little macaron creations last month saw me rapidly increasing the inches on my waist and thighs hence the abrupt halt altogether.
this time i will approach it with calculated caution.

just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean that they don't love you with everything they've got.
